Welcome to my web page here at taildraggers.com! I'm a retired military Test Pilot with nearly 5000 hours total time and am also a former EAA member. Thanks to having multiple flight test and flight research tours I've had the pleasure of flying a number of different aircraft with the USAF, with industry, and with NASA. My experience includes T-38, F-4, OV-10, A-7, F-5, F-16, F-18 (on a 3-year exchange with the Canadian Forces) F-15, Learjet 24 (with Calspan Corp) Cessna 170, Citabria, TG-14 (a tailwheel motorglider that I flew as a NASA research pilot) and at least 50 other aircraft, both military and civilian, including multiple gliders.
NORMAL STUFF: I am available to do BFRs, initial tailwheel endorsements, private or commercial ratings, all the normal stuff. It will be in your plane or a plane that you already have access to. (If you don't have access to a plane we can still get together and talk. Perhaps we can figure something out.)
EXPERIMENTAL STUFF: What I bring to the table that others may not is a Master's Degree in Aero Engineering, multiple years of high-performance flight test experience, membership in the Society of Experimental Test Pilots (as an Associate Fellow) Senior Membership in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the training and experience to help you get it right if you are trying to do something technically challenging. Check out my blog at http://flighttesttoday.blogspot.com if you like, and get in touch if you think I can be of help, even if it is just to discuss an idea of yours.
FLY SAFE! And keep that centerline between the mains!
