My name is Lee Godbold. I'm 15 years old and have been flying all my life. Me and my dad own a J3 Cub and fly it out of Cox Field located in Apex NC. I'm set to solo on my 16th birthday which is October 4th. Other planes I have a fair amount of hours in include a Cessna 210, Boeing Stearman, Cessna 170, Super Cub, Luscombe, Ercoupe, and a Cessna 150. Flown in many others including an Extra 200, RV4, Beechcraft Bonanza, Piper Colt and a few others. Other interests include auto racing. If flying is my first love then auto racing is my second. Plan to run some SCCA Auto Crosses in the next few years then maybe do some races in an MG. I'd love to eventually get a Pitts and that might happen in the next few years.
