N5511A is a Maule M7-235 Super Rocket. I bought the plane from an operator in Anchorage Alaska in July 2007. I flew it to it's new home in Long Beach, Calif. Since then I have added a Garmin 430W, Garmin audio panel and CDI for IFR operations, a JPI EDM800 engine monitor and an Alaska Bushwheels 3200 tailwheel. I live in South Orange County and work at the Long Beach Airport as the Operations Manager and Gulfstream Captain for a large automotive corporation. I have approximately 14,000 hours of total flight time with several hundred hours in tailwheels. I am a CFII and I give tailwheel instruction and endorsements in my plane or yours. I found that it is difficult to find a tailwheel instructor with Maule experience for the purpose of meeting insurance requiremnets. So after I bought my Maule I thought I would offer my services to anyone that needed dual instruction in order to meet their insurance requirements or who just wanted to experience flying the Maule.
