Rich has specialized in spin, emergency maneuver, aerobatic, and tailwheel training full-time since 1987. He has performed more than 27,000 spins with students from all over the world!
He has logged more than 6,600 hours flying taildraggers. Tailwheel checkouts include flying anything from Cubs and Champs, to Citabrias and Decathons, to Pitts and Christen Eagles, to Texas taildraggers.
Rich was named the FAA's 2006 National CFI of the Year, and is an Official Spin Doctor of the International Aerobatic Club. He has scripted and hosted several aviation training videos, has authored numerous articles for aviation magazines, and has written three aviation textbooks.
