The day I got my newly aquired '59 Piper Pacer.
Welcome everybody, I am a 29 year old commercial pilot living in Oklahoma.  I graduaded high chool with my private license and started working on my commercial. After getting my commercial I began flying spray planes for a living, after three seasons ( and a bad year of no rain) I took a job in the oil field to pay the bills.  I basically quit flying for five years, just the occasional quick flight with friends, (dang this is expensive when your not getting paid to do it) to keep me going. Last year I got the bug to fly again so back into trade a plane I went, and all the other selling sites! I found the Pacer in Georgia and made a deal over the phone.  I called up my old spray plane boss and got a few t.o.'s and landings in his Citabria and off to Georgia.  I looked at the plane flew it, and did a few simple things ( compression check, looked for corrosion, the usual) and signed the check.  The next day I loaded up and flew the plane back to OK, in 9 hours including three fuel stops.  The trip was a total blast and I have had a enjoyable time being around planes again.  I have flown many antique and modern aircraftso if you have any questions on any models I can probably answer it, or find someone that can. Keep'em flying!
